What I Do

I represent clients in both commercial transactions and commercial litigation matters. My commercial transaction work includes assisting clients with buying and selling businesses and real estate, reviewing and negotiating leases, forming and organizing entities, and drafting and reviewing contracts, such as loan agreements, construction contracts, MSA’s, noncompete and confidentiality agreements, employment and consulting contracts, and various other contracts.

My commercial litigation work primarily concerns pursuing and defending against claims related to contract disputes, particularly in the construction, real estate, finance, and insurance sectors. This work also includes filing, asserting and defending against various lien claims.

I’m a Houston native and graduated from Second Baptist High School in 2000. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 2004, where I earned the university’s highest honor, the Taylor Medal. I returned to Houston for law school and graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 2007. I joined an AM Law 200 law firm upon graduation, where I worked in the firm’s Houston office for 16 years handling litigation and transactional matters across Texas. I formed my own practice in 2023 and continue to provide exceptional service to my clients.

“My clients appreciate my creativity, diligence, and effectiveness in managing their legal matters. I enjoy finding unique and innovative solutions to legal challenges.”
